Review of Findings

Dr. Robert F. Hawke, DDS

The most important service any dentist or physician can offer is a thorough examination diagnosis of existing conditions, and a treatment plan that services the short-range, and long-term needs of his patient. PREVENTION is the key. An understanding of the existing conditions provides the patient with the knowledge and understanding to make the proper choices that suit his individual wants and needs.

Dr. Charles Mayo has said, “Preventive dentistry can add 10 years to human life.” It is important for us to understand the existing conditions, but is even more important for us to understand how you got where you are, and what can be done to prevent the recurrence of dental disease, and the protection of your teeth and supporting structures from damage and loss in the future.

Dentistry, unlike other aspects of life is usually carried out without a plan, without concrete goals and objectives of what you would like to have happen. For this reason, we take a great deal of time and effort in the beginning to help you completely understand your mouth, dental breakdown, and then help you make the decision as to how you would like to be treated. Quality is the constant…time is the variable. Once we have your MASTER PLAN complete, then it will be your responsibility to complete the plan in a time period that works for you, and meets the objectives for your dental health.
